Dear Friends and Neighbors,
I am filled with gratitude and I am very honored for your support in this historic election! Last night was a moment to remember as we listened to President-elect Obama. It is in that vein that I continue to be energized for what we can all accomplish together. Be it winning an election or making the most of my work in the legislature it is all about what we do together. I am so appreciative of your efforts and support that allow me to continue to serve the 17th district.
The next legislative session will be challenging but I am optimistic. With budget issues we will be prudent, however there are important changes that we must make to ensure our State remains the great place that it is to live, work and play. We need to ensure all Washingtonians have affordable health care, quality education and good jobs. With a lot of work our future is bright!
